Stash ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by Qualia Corp. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Stash iOS app.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: Email address and display name when you sign up.
• Content you save: URLs, article titles, and metadata of links you save to Stash.
• Usage data: Swipe actions (keep/dismiss), interest preferences, and language settings.
• Device token: For push notification delivery (only if you grant permission).

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the Stash service
• To generate AI-powered summaries and tags for your saved content
• To personalize your feed based on your stated interests
• To send you optional weekly digest notifications

3. AI Processing

Article content you save may be sent to third-party AI services (Google Gemini) for summarization and categorization. We do not use your content to train AI models. Content is processed transiently and not stored by the AI provider beyond the request.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS infrastructure. We use Row-Level Security to ensure each user can only access their own data.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not currently display advertisements. In the future, we may introduce an advertising-supported free tier and a paid ad-free version. If we do, we will update this Privacy Policy and notify existing users in advance before any such changes take effect. We do not share your data with third parties except as required to operate the service (cloud infrastructure, AI processing) or as required by law.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile tab in the app. Upon deletion, your data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

Stash is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email.
